Jerry L. Favors

                                   1953 - 2006

Well-known to many in the U.S. and international technical analysis community for his scholarly research, Jerry Favors wrote articles on market analysis for such top technical periodicals as Commodity Traders Consumer Report, Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities and Trader's World Magazine.

Rated among the top market timers in the country by Timer's Digest in 2005, his forecasts appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Barron's, USA Today and other publications. Many market watchers came to know Jerry during his weekly TV appearances on CNBC from late 1998 - 2000.

February 28, 2007 marked the one-year anniversary of Jerry's passing. What a year it has been.

On March 1, 2006 it was decided that The Jerry Favors Analysis service would somehow continue without Jerry, but not without the market wisdom he left us. Unknown to many, the service has met and overcome many challenges this past year. As the transition continues we would like to announce that The Jerry Favors Analysis will move forward as an online, self-study, educational resource center. Among many things, our web site will feature a newsletter archive of select issues from 1985 to 2007.

To prepare for the new online resource center it was necessary that we move beyond our day-to-day analysis of the markets. Therefore, the February newsletter was our final issue and Friday, March 9 marked our final daily hotline update. Updates on our progress will be posted periodically in the Announcements area on this site.

Jerry loved teaching about and studying the financial markets. He would be so proud to know that the service he created has survived, and will become an educational center for the continuing studies of the works of W.D. Gann, R.N. Elliott, Donald Bradley, George Lindsay, Edson Gould and the other financial masters he so admired.
